Since no one here has sent an updated list of his 4mm stock, I am posting his listings from about 19 years ago.

The last time I spoke with him, he said he now only takes stock if they are requested upon, so I'm not too sure if he will do a fully updated list of his models now.

Cheers,

Julien.

What an excellent range it was.

Fortunately a few kits (LNWR NPCS and various brake vans) transferred to London Road Models. Possibly others went elsewhere. However, I believe that the layout of Danny's artwork and tooling  made this rather difficult with other kits in his very comprehensive range.

Having helped the owner of Modelstock sort out the ABS 4mm range, I can confirm that there were a number of ex D&S cast wagon kits in the range, more importantly there were masters too - but whether all the masters were transferred from Adrian to allow the production of kits is a different matter and one we’re still grappling with.

Hi all,

Im was hoping you might be able to help me, I’m trying to find 7mm GWR steam crane like the one D&S did in 4mm. Does anyone know if there’s a kit available.

Well, if that's the Cowans-Sheldon one, D & S used to do it in 7mm as well.    Have you asked him?

Hi Jonathan,

thank you for the info, I didn’t know he also did it in 7mm, I’ll get a letter sent to him asap.

again thank you for your help.

It was indeed an excellent range.  And what I like about his address (about only five miles from here as the crow flies) is that The Street is off Kit's Lane !

I used to pop in on Dan, the regular joke was whether Kit’s Lane will ever be finished.

I still have more kits I asked him to confirm their availability, so I will update this thread in a week or two.

In the meanwhile, I hope this helps anyone who was interested in any of the kits above!

Cheers,
Julien.

Both 6 wheel are GWR Siphons 04 and 05

Re the LNER items

103 (not listed)

171 to 233   are ex NER plus 296 , the remainder are ex GNR or as already shown as  in the above list.

Everyone should refer to the list I posted directly above for item numbers! They all remain unchanged to this day.

These are the only things that I know the price of since I either asked or bought from him:

- NER Clerestory coaches (53.50)
      - Clerestory kit from reject pile (50)
- NER Tool Van (53.50)

- NER Riding Van (53.50)
- Dynamometer Car (75)
- WBU coaches (46)
- NER 12-wheel Dining Car (75)

With this price list, it can be assumed for the rest of his range that they are around 53.50 pounds for coaches + vans and 75 for bigger or unique coaches.

I will ask him for the prices on the Siphons next time I talk to him. If anyone else wants to know the price of something specific, I can relay it to him. Just post it here and I will ask.

Cheers,
Julien.

With all the matching RTR locos available or in sight, The GE 50’ corridor stock would be useful. It would be good to get a couple built before the RTR ones are announced😉.
