Personally I'm yet to hear a Ferrari road car engine note that was preferable to cats fighting. If they could make F1 sound like the V8s in an American muscle car, or a modern AMG Merc, then we'd be taking. Reckon you'd be better trying out either F1 stock cars or V8 Hotstox. They are now silenced to some degree but still pretty damn loud especially in a stadium with a decent grandstand to keep the sound in a bit. In that respect something like the Merc and Ferrari are the least obnoxious... I suppose it keeps someone in a job, though, just like the change of a football team's shirt every season...
