RMweb Gold slow8dirty Posted September 22, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 22, 2018 Just seen the manor leaving Minehead, not a nice day to be working tender first!
RMweb Gold slow8dirty Posted September 23, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 23, 2018 Didn't seem to be improving things much tbh! Quite interesting to see from a modelling perspective though, and the comfort of the computer desk.

brianusa
The Up Quantock Belle had a problem approaching the Home signal at Blue Anchor today. Eventually got going and proceeded non stop while the Down service patiently waited. Brian

Agreed, and sound at Blue Anchor would be nice but I am guessing it's proximity to caravans and houses may preclude it.
woodenhead
Two have now gone up at Williton as well. http://www.wsr.org.uk/r-cam-wn1. http://www.wsr.org.uk/r-cam-wn2.htm NB looks like the link isn't fully working yet. http://www.wsr.org.uk/r-cam-wn1.htm And Crowcombe upgraded as well. Blue Anchor now has sound - great and Williton also has sound - brilliant for diesel fans. I just wish I lived near this line, my employers have dealings in the area but I don't travel there enough to be able to visit this line. brianusa
Thanks for the info. I shall have to check this out when the time zones align a bit better. I'm not that keen to get out of bed to watch trains in the middle of the night! Brian.

Hymek and Class 33 on shed with a shunter. http://www.wsr.org.uk/r-cam-wn2.htm Jason Did you see the coach arrive on a low loader? There is a second 33 out and about somewhere - it left Williton on Monday taking some wagons with it, was stabled in the station at Bishops Lydeard overnight and I've not seen it since, the shunter was in use yesterday at Minehead. Steamport Southport
Did you see the coach arrive on a low loader? No. Just had a little peek at the cameras to see if anything was happening and to check out the new cameras. I was wondering whether something was running as the signal at Crowcombe is at clear. http://www.wsr.org.uk/r-cam-ch1.htm Jason

Steamport Southport
I was surprised how clear the new cameras were during the Candlelight trains. Very atmospheric. More running tonight apparently, as well as the Santas in the daytime. Jason

woodenhead
Busy bees today - this was mostly devoid of bits of rotted sleeper earlier, they must have done the work earlier this week and been out to pick up the mess today.

woodenhead
The clue must be in her surname Webcams at Williton still off, must be pay to play, more Carol services tonight, she's a busy lady. Looking at my last post of the 33 spoil train there is a joke in there about a lot of broken wood today but i must resist. I wasn't able to post the screengrab of the 33 at Crowcombe just now, but it was great to watch the p-way action!
'CHARD
That most likely the tidy train in action clearing all sleepers/rails/timber etc to make the railway tidy for the next season. I ran yesterday and today and most likely other dates as well over winter. That makes sense - it looked like sundry chunks of well-weathered crud piled on flat wagons. It actually resembled a post-closure S&T stripping train!
