sharkman
Maybe we should keep this as a secret to ourselves but does'nt the pack R6930 of 3 MGR wagons look like the latest tooling version and at £24.99 an absolute bargain while R6796 the original version at £8.99? Pete the Elaner
I always thought the old version was a good starting point for detailing. The wobble was its worst feature but that could easily be fixed with a drop of Evo-Stick.
RMweb Premium Hilux5972 Posted August 10, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 10, 2017 This is in response to the recent issue with the R6828 triple pack of MGR wagons that were announced. They were announced as full super detail models, but were actually delivered as Railroad models. They hav now released them as the Railroad pack, but are just re using the original super detail artwork.

Lets hope the artwork is going to be off the originals or somebody has blundered on packaging and used new type??
Andy Mac
Lets hope the artwork is going to be off the originals or somebody has blundered on packaging and used new type?? Shark man, Your a bit behind the times with the triple pack MGR full spec price railroad models mix up.... been discussed extensively, and I doubt Hornby will be changing anything as the packaging and models are already in existence and were removed from sale recently to allow for them to be re-issued as railroad models at the correct price point..... RMweb Premium Hilux5972 Posted August 10, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 10, 2017 His is a product image from Hattons, of the pack as it was previously released, now with the new code and showing as August release. I'd imagine Hornby would have had to recall them to at leat change the barcoding on the pack.
