royaloak
Be aware that these replacement, but old, chassis have the original brown wheels. Dave. The 26 chassis also has the later air tanks meaning it is only suitable for a refurbished (dual braked) loco, not the earlier (vacuum braked) versions meaning the description is wrong. RMweb Premium Andy Hayter Posted January 5, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 5, 2018 Continental bargains Pierre Dominique are having a weekend pre-sale (Sales officially start on the 10th in France). There are many, many items listed in their special promo(tion) and some are clearly near to full price, but equally there are some items (mainly older models) with some quite deep discounting. https://www.pierredominique.com/p386-promo-flash.html

How much is one of these worth, if sold second hand, with plastic wheels and no coupling.. would they fetch more than £1.46 boxed ? May as well just buy a packet of wagon wheels and a packet of couplings each for about £8 for 10. It'll work out much cheaper. Jason
NIK
Be aware that these replacement are new, but old, chassis having the original brown wheels. Dave. Hi, I've just bought a Class 27 chassis from Olivias and although it has Brown wheels it doesn't have the manky brown wheels that Heljan fitted to its first Class 33s. This particular chassis is picking up ok on my rolling road. However it arrived in a small box and one bogie mount was broken on arrival - the same as the chassis I hoped to repair. Nick Holliday
A recently opened shop in Sutton, Surrey - Pound Store - currently has a small range of rattle can paints containing 250ml. Apart from matt and gloss black, and the usual bright colours, they also have a range called "Army Issue" with colour names such as Battle Ship Grey, Beige Grey (also called Jungle) and Grey Beige! (Also called Desert) which might be of interest for modelling, as per attached, regrettably rather poor, photo. The BSG might have some use for wagon liveries, although a bit on the blue side, while the others may have value for weathering or landscaping.
