Boris
I have been watching today and caught a quick visit by the Southern liveried schools class Repton. Was it a test run from the shed or is she now in full service ? There will be a certain amount of running in required before it enters full time service

woodenhead
Question, when was the NYMR line re-aligned. These google-maps images show a separate abandoned alignment between Grosmont and just after Goathland

tamperman36
I see from todays loco roster that there is a visitor in action, 45212 another Black five.
tamperman36
Whilst watching the camera today I have noticed that black five 45212 is fitted with a national network radio roof pod on its cab roof. A useful little detail for modellers of the modern era.

Steamport Southport
I had a few looks over the weekend and it looked like it was busy. Plenty of people in costume and they were even dancing on the platform. 44806 Magpie* seemed to be more in 1968 end of steam condition than WWII though. *It'll always be Magpie to me. woodenhead
Bit different today with no scheduled services for November, just a 25 doing some marshalling work. There are still people turning up on the platform to find the shop is closed!!
