RMweb Gold phil_sutters Posted April 10, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 10, 2018 (edited) A bit of a mixture, but definitely at least one non rail mounted vehicle. Perhaps we will go ro-rail now. Edited April 10, 2018 by phil_sutters

eastwestdivide
More yellow, Swiss this time, up in the mountains at Wassen. On the side, it says Funkmesswagen, literally radio measurement car, evidently for testing comms reception: Let's have some non-yellow engineers' activity next? RMweb Gold phil_sutters Posted April 14, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 14, 2018 A breakdown train returning to base - going by the head code I have discovered a small group of Didcot crane photos - should further slots need filling! RMweb Gold 96701 Posted April 15, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 15, 2018 Stratford breakdown crane ADRC 96701 re-railing a Cowans 12t GP (General Purpose) crane DRC 81537 after it had overturned removing sidings at Colchester. Peter Robinson the Breakdown Supervisor (the bloke in the blue jeans and white hat) asked me if they could cut the jib off with a gas axe before they righted it. He was a little disappointed when I rejected his proposal. They put at least 5 feet of packing into the ground before the breakdown crane could actually get 81537 upright. I was somewhat late home that night........ Keep these odd machines coming........
