RMweb Gold BoD Posted March 22, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 22, 2018 (edited) And not just a UK phenomenon, these two from Como, Italy, in 2014. One showing a sense of humour, the other I was surprised they let it out in traffic A few years ago I was at the station in Pisa. I was amazed at the amount of graffiti on all of the trains. RMweb Premium newbryford Posted March 22, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 22, 2018 I've been collecting graffiti pictures some time. This tag is quite common on railway vehicles. I did a couple of JNA models - they are elsewhere on RMWeb. Somebody then copied and pasted my prototype and model pics onto a graffiti blog...... Cheers, Mick
RMweb Gold phil_sutters Posted March 23, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 23, 2018 (edited) These two were photographed from a train on the other side of Haywards Heath station - hence some reflections. I regret that I wasn't able to stop, the following week, to photograph the front coach of a new Thameslink 70,0 which was parked at Hove station with a very liberal coating of graffiti. leopardml2341
Can't be sure I've not posted this before, and tbh can't be @rsed to check , but here's a (late) seasonal one at Duddeston in the early '80s. RMweb Premium petethemole Posted March 23, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 23, 2018 An emergency back-up caused by Windows 10 corrupted a lot of my wagon pics so I can't post the example of an old graffito on a ballast hopper, where the wagon had continued to rust for some time before the spray paint eventually flaked off, preserving an area of less-weathered original livery in the shape of the original piece, surrounded by rust.

eastwestdivide
Not sure if it counts as graffiti, but I liked this "HELP" scrawled on the end of a Hymek at Leicester, Christmas/New Year 1982-83, on its way to preservation I think.
