P for Porthmadog for variety on 4 October 2014

Alongside the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway, Arriva Trains on the Cambrian line, approaches the level crossing before stopping at Porthmadog Station.

One of my photos for a change - the Queen Mother at Waterloo. Was her face left dirty when her sides were cleaned, or does this illustrate how fast a newly cleaned loco acquires flies and grot on its cab front?

Another EMU (well, the remains of one) at Queenborough, 1983 I think. Looks like a 306 with the non-metallic parts burnt off ready for scrapping.

Queenborough Shipbreakers broke trains as well as ships, and there was a good collection of ancient and unusual wagons there at the time.
