According to Wikipedia, Ireland is 84,421 sq km, Hokkaido is 83,453 sq.km. Kushiro is on the eastern coast. Next - a smaller island.. It's at Bingley near the 3 rise locks, probably a Morecambe to Leeds or Bradford train. Note the old Midland warehouse/grain depot on the left. They were of the remains of the S&DJR's goods shed and wharf at Highbridge, where I lived at the time. Dad was always taking photos of locos and trains, so I assume that I didn't see the need, but I obviously thought that it was worth recording some of the other bits of the local railway history. The end products weren't very good but may provide a few details when I eventually get round to moving my model of the wharf into phase 2 - the railway and commercial parts of the area.
