Dc4421 & Dx5108 heading onto the East Coast main trunk at Frankton Junction Jan 2001 with a Mission Bush to Mount Maunganui steel coil service. Ef 30192 Frankton Junction, not sure of the date. This was the only one of the Ef class to receive the Tranzrail blue colour scheme. Dx 5143 on a Mission Bush to Te Rapa goods at Ngaruawahia Jan 2008. Our train is on the right. Mostly uphill for two hours in the first coach behind the loco........ starting at 6700 feet and climbing to just over 9000. Nice!
