Ef 30192 Frankton Junction, not sure of the date. This was the only one of the Ef class to receive the Tranzrail blue colour scheme.

I'm afraid I have nothing in blue....... Oh, hang on, there is this one taken somewhere on the Western Main Line. I'm sure there will be at least one person who knows where I took it.

So, blue is the colour. SECR P class no. 323 'Bluebell' simmers in the loop at Highley with a short goods train during our gala, September 2017.

The MHR's Thomas, converted from an Austerity 0-6-0ST, at Alresford. I was having a footplate experience at the time.

Also at Alresford, S7DJR No 88 in blue, with admirers. I didn't get it all in shot unfortunately.

I was hoping that unauthentic paint job wouldn't appear! They were never blue despite no.80 having been painted in photographic pale grey with some lining, for its official photograph at Derby. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/gallery/image/77583-sdjr-2-8-0-no-80-derby-1914-wdn-1959/

Can't remember if I've posted this one before.

Our train is on the right. Mostly uphill for two hours in the first coach behind the loco........ starting at 6700 feet and climbing to just over 9000.  Nice!

Cheers,

Mick
