RMweb Premium melmerby Posted July 30, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 30, 2017 (edited) The Swedish private operator Tågkompaniet has plenty of X.. multiple units, maybe someone has a piccy of them? Uppsala local transport also has some X51 We just need a replacement R and a Y & Z. Just a thought, when we've finished this how about we do A to Z of British stations, maybe region by region? A list of stations sounds fine but I would suggest do any stations, anywhere in alphabetical order Keith Edited July 30, 2017 by melmerby
RMweb Gold big jim Posted July 30, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 30, 2017 You're confused! I lost sight of the ABC rules about three pages back. Anyone thinking there are too many rules, and perhaps after Z just go back to asking for "and the next photo will have..."? Depends what rules we are playing really, I think I ended up in nip at some point! http://www.isihac.co.uk/games/mcvariations/
RMweb Gold big jim Posted July 30, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 30, 2017 R is for RTOV operated by colas (RTOV was a designation designed to replace DBSO which didn't last long) I know it's a long shot but quite frankly I'm proper bored of the way this thread is going and want to get into something else quickly
RMweb Gold big jim Posted July 30, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 30, 2017 Z is for a ZTR brake van operated by EWS, used to propel wagons into shotwick paper mill Now ffs let's get a Y and get it ended

bingley hall
I think part of the problem is some people are trying too hard? If you ain't got a pic that fits the bill or you think you contribution might only be 50/50, then let it go, otherwise confusion seems to reign. There will be plenty more opportunities. It's not a competition, it's a bit of fun ( I too have to remind myself of that from time to time). Doing the A to Z of stations sounds like fun?

EddieB
I thought it was a bit of fun - but clearly others didn't, so sorry. Just to finish the alphabet with some more of "that foreign muck"... X (NSB X Ska 207.3) Y (SNCF) Z (OSE Zeta alpha) Back to the stations alphabet - I'll leave it alone.

I thought it was enjoyable although trying not to duplicate railways made it more difficult. That said it did throw up some interesting foreign photos. I'm amazed no-one uploaded any SNCF autorails which were classified X-whatever, or EMUs which all seem to be Z something! Stations should be fun though. X will be a lulu.

My main interest is BR, 1970s/80s, but for me seeing views from around the world is an added bonus, even though I don't know what is going on! cheers
