aardvark Posted Wednesday at 23:53 Share Posted Wednesday at 23:53 Silly people - the grass doesn't grow in LM. Everything is perfectly behaved*. * with the probable exception of the panniers, which may be why I don't have any.

Ponthir28 Posted yesterday at 07:17 Share Posted yesterday at 07:17 It’s over week now without a full view of a cuddly pannier. I might have to find another website starting to feel depressed.

Popular Post KNP Posted yesterday at 10:42 Author Popular Post Share Posted yesterday at 10:42 (edited) Special Announcement Over the last few weeks a project has been underway which followed on from some PM's I had with Chris (Chuffinghell) about producing a van that anyone running a milk train must have, especially GWR. Many years ago a brass kit was made of them and I believe longer available so to source one at the moment is lucky and expensive. So Chris has produced a Milk Brake Van (or Milk Van) to Diagram O.13 Lot 1299 based on the information in the book Great Western Coaches Part 11 (1903 - 1948) by J H Russell - page 102 and it was delivered yesterday..... This is a pre-production version and my part is to finish it and comment on any issues. The following pictures are of it straight out the box and all I have done is fix the buffers in (so I don't loose them!!!). Items needed are glazing, vacuum pipes, door and roof grab rails, and of course painting and transfers (from Fox). I have to say that I have now built 4 items of rolling stock (Chuffinghell) and the Yard Crane (Harlequin) and I am very impressed with every aspect of 3d printing. More items will be following no doubt. Work will commencing in the next few days and I will be posting pictures of the progress over the next week or so. Great pic with loads of interest. That sweeping panoramic view makes the curve look much more generous than I guess it is in reality. 2

I'm grateful of any feedback so I can get it closer to being right Chris 2

GMKAT7 Posted yesterday at 14:59 Share Posted yesterday at 14:59 Good afternoon Kevin and Chris, The milk van is looking good, so I will be putting an order in when Chris is ready to print, along with the updated PW brake van. Based on the T3 and CC7 kits, which are excellent, these should be a winner. Plus one of those huts that you have just done for Rob (Mr Wolf). 😀 Cheers, Nigel. 4
