What is the definition of long overdue in the world of Little Muddle ?  Are we talking - hours, days, months years ?

I don't really think that anything can be 'overdue' in the LM universe.

Buying another Pannier is long overdue, should have at least a dozen by now.

Aren't there some coaches other words are available, that you can show. Showing pictures of Panniers will only result in you being 'reported' for pandering to the 'bottom of the barrel' clientele you know. Rise above it and demonstrate that you above such pandering.

By the way nice Pannier.

The Encombe Town pic encapsulates what makes a junction station worth modelling - lots of action at once!

A small goods yard as well does help though, giving something to do (i.e. shunting) in the long periods between such moments of action.

So what did you takes your books to school in, . . . . Oh, that was a satchel wasn't it. You used the saddle on the horse to ride to school.

Do you remember the Triumph Pink Witch push bike ? Ladies only and came with a lipstick holder ( natch) , tennis racket clamp on the front forks and a shopping basket on the rear .

Sorry  , of course you are too young !

They don't have panniers, do they?

No they're both saddle tanks.😃

I'm just applying the Wolf / Spiers Theorem on vintage motorcycles to Pannier tank engines.

Or the version of the BSA Streamlight that had a clamp for a hockey stick, Miss R wants one, frankly I wouldn't trust her with it!

More useful on today's roads would probably be an ex German army bicycle, not only did it have a clamp for your rifle, but also a box slung under the crossbar containing those "potato masher" grenades.

With of course Ride of the Valkyrie blaring out of the speakers for dramatic effect.
