RMweb Premium Midland Mole Posted Saturday at 07:35 RMweb Premium Share Posted Saturday at 07:35 For some reason of all the goods formations seen during the steam era, milk trains are one of my favourites to see modelled. No idea why. Just another example of what an odd person I am I guess 😄 1 2 1
RMweb Premium Siberian Snooper Posted Saturday at 12:12 RMweb Premium Share Posted Saturday at 12:12 Going back to your tug, you need a couple of boiler room air intakes, they're the trumpet like things that you see on boats of that era. 2

Popular Post KNP Posted Saturday at 15:24 Author Popular Post Share Posted Saturday at 15:24 (edited) The tug with no name…. After it was pointed out those doors went and I have added my own, as big as I could, so at least it looks like you could get through them!!! Canvas bridge screen fitted using my favourite item which is a piece of a plastic bin liner glued with Roket card glue….good combination. Much more to add, bridge details, towing hook, cowls, tow guards over engine hatch’s, possibly a boat, handrails, mast, lights to name a few items off the top of my head!!! Why are tugs painted those colours of black and fawn? I understand that black is serviceable but does fawn , or the combination of colours stand out at sea ? ( I’m mildly colour blind ). Thanks. Ken No idea but my guess would be a black hull wears well and the fawn colour easily seen in any weather day or night? My reason for the fawn is that I have loads of Vallejo Cork Brown and it was a chance to use some up plus it looked nice?????? 8
MrWolf Posted yesterday at 09:07 Share Posted yesterday at 09:07 I'm guessing that the fawn was better for hiding the in service rust streaks? 2 2 1
Popular Post Pecketts And Panniers Posted yesterday at 10:02 Popular Post Share Posted yesterday at 10:02 It costs more to paint it, though. I'd heard that fawn was a little deer. 1 2
