Hang on. Isn't that Encombe Town? Shouldn't they be changing for Little Muddle?

MBV progress

Two coats of paint to the body and chassis, coat of grey on the roof.

All happily drying in the railway room.

Before adding the glazing I am going to paint the mahogany trim to the windows.

Decided to do most of the roof weathering off model as there is not much of a lip and I expect I will end painting what I don't need to paint!!!!

All in all shaping up to be nice looking model.

That does look very nice.  I will be ordering one from @chuffinghell as soon as they're finalised (along with a few other bits and pieces, I'm sure).

I think he's going to be busy, I've put my name down for one as well, having seen the CAD work.

It's looking even better with a coat of paint, were they all brown or did they receive full livery?

Part of the brown vehicle fleet of the GWR.

Rated as NPCCS as there where designed to go at express speed when moving the milk.

Errr... Since that excursion came from Little Muddle, why would anyone be going back already?

Thursday, two weeks time.

Now I understand why they might want to go back.

The MBV is looking great by the way.

Magnificent!
What kind of paint do you use?

Wouldn't let me in the pub because I had my string vest on.

You should have been wearing your  "I love Panniers" T shirt.

That’s a great new vantage point on the outside of the curve - a wonderful image. More please!

Looking really good @KNP. I've reserved one from the forthcoming (vast!) production run. Vallejo paints work well, can I ask which brown you use?

Thanks

Base coat is Vallejo Chocolate Brown with a dash of Beige Brown mixed in prior to weathering.
