Popular Post KNP
Lets have a change CC7 tool van supplied to me by Chris (Chuffinghell) is all but finished. I say 'all but finished' like that because very often I'll take some pictures and think that needs sorting so back into the workshop it moves!!! Here is my version of a short works train off (or coming back) to sort (or has sorted) an issue further down the line. Very nice little build with beautifully printed pieces with all the bits supplied like bearings, wheels and all you need to get is some transfers which are produced by Railtec. As I mentioned previously this is my first venture into 3D printed rolling stock and after this there will be more. The train comprises of Prairie 4550 with a few tweaks, CC7 wagon, a very old Ratio kit of an open C tube wagon, Cambrian crane with match truck and bringing up the rear my converted Toad into a PW version. An unusual looking formation which I will be adding to, just needed to find some pictures of one of these trains in use so I can see how they loaded signals? Chris makes other items like a CC2 van and a T3 wagon which I will be getting in due course. You can see more information on this, and the other items, on his layout thread Warren Branch. No connections just a satisfied customer. Edited July 3 by KNP 35 1 1 4

RMweb Gold Limpley Stoker Posted July 4 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 4 Is this works train here to make LM signals a little less pesky? That’s a lovely wood interior of the Tube C, did you paint it before assembling the kit? 2 2

Thanks No it was painted afterwards and I planned to fill the wagon with pipes but the wood looked so nice that I left it empty!!!!

I’m still undecided whether or not to put a load in my T3 signal wagon. I have parts from a Ratio signal kit and some posts I printed that I thought of using as a load…. ….but I’m still not convinced 10 1 1

I’m still researching how they were loaded but I’ll still have a couple of T3 off you next month though!!!
