Popular Post KNP
General Information Announcement For many, many months now I have been ploughing through this thread from page 1 to reinstate all pictures lost before the hard drive collapse of March 2022. Yesterday evening I completed the task..... In summary: All my main pictures have now been reinstated (as they are saved on my computer as well as the cloud). Most of the mobile phone ones have been as well but there are gaps as sometimes I would take and post whilst in the railway room but not save. Naturally not be able to do the 3rd party pictures. 10 8 30

Does that mean we'll be able to 'revell' in even more photos of panniers. Oh dear. 1

aardvark
ModelU has quite a range of workmen, most of whom look suitably idle, but this one looks like he's telling a fishing story. Edited April 4 by aardvark
MrWolf
Or boasting of some other prowess? Seriously though, he looks like he should be standing on a dockside coiling up a rope. 2

Mind you it is Little Muddle so it could be possible. LM today or 1938, the rest of the country 1970.

autocoach
That figure looks like it wearing a 21st century microphone...probably a shadow or painting problem. Otherwise he looks like he just opened a shed door and found something missing on the top shelf... I'm all for figures posed at rest on layouts as they don't require some other details to explain their activity.
