And it has made a very effective composition 1 2

Had a bit of a problem in that it didn’t look right and for some reason the gloss effect would not go. So I re-did the roof…. Looking better now but does need to dry throughly to get the Matt effect. Currant postition Working on the ridge detail now, just done it and will work on it tomorrow…..when dry as I have to bend it Thanks for asking. It's surprising how much you can learn, even from doing supposedly familiar tasks. If I think I can improve it, it doesn't matter how long I spent on it. I'll just redo it if it ain't looking right the next day. 3

I lost the fear of reworking anything when I realised that in its current state of wrong, the model, painting or whatever was junk anyway, so there's no real risk to reworking it. You'll gain experience, learn something new and put the job right. All you stand to lose is a little time. 4

Popular Post KNP
The expansion update. Main roof thatched and ridge now on and dry. Just the securing spars to go which I will probably do over the weekend. Tiled roof next though I am debating with the builder as to whether or not to do slate or plain tiles.......beginning to fancy plain... This is an unusual view as the camera was standing on a strip of grass behind the harbour masters office/sheds and we were lucky to catch the railcar passing by as well Need to add some chimney pots but it appears I don't have enough of the style I want so I think a visit to Dart Castings is required.
