Thanks For me, part of this hobby is the photography. I enjoy setting up a scene more than I do operating trains - leave that to my Grandson. LM has often been referred to as one large photo plank…… quite near the truth if I’m honest…! Even my controller needs dusting before we use it! 3 1
Popular Post KNP
I have been quietly going through my large collection of pictures I have taken over the last few years since the layout first appeared and was quite amazed at what I have taken, many have never seen the light of day, some I have completely forgotten about taking? Like this one where I was messing about with light filters and overlays, then forgot all about it, and it has stayed in the folder since last year!!!! I was trying to bleach the photo, so the colour appeared washed out caused by the sun bursting through the trees and causing lens flare. Anyway here it is, someone might like it? At first thought it was from the 1960's very early preservation days of the DVR at Buckfastleigh before the site was swallowed up in part by the A38 2

MrWolf
I find so much to look at in that picture that I am tempted to go and buy another PC. I do like the way that the loco and crane frame the picture, which draws the eye right into the view. The stack of lighting up timber on the coaling stage is a nice little detail. 4 8
Popular Post KNP
Using a different camera setting here are some monochrome pictures arrived at by telling the camera via the mode dial on SCN (scene) and set to number 24 - Monochrome. Normally I would take a colour picture then remove it via Affinity but here the camera does it directly and I feel with more sharpness and intensity. Used the Post Focus mode as well and in two of them selected at editing what was in focus or not. Edited March 30 by KNP 32

Fishplate
All brilliant pics @KNP. I particularly love the random positioning of the fishing boxes/ lobster pots/ paraphernalia and the clearly 'rotten' timbers under the crane jib in the third picture. 2
Popular Post KNP
The balance has been restored in the Universe...... At the beginning of the year when I started the The Unicorn PH I moved the platform gas lamp just in case it got knocked and stored it safely away. Yes, I think you can guess, I stored it so safely that I have only just found it again....!! The lamp is back in it's rightful place by the gate. The balance is restored. Ponthir28
Is it that long ago the pub was being built. Doesn’t seam that long and as for the gas light I didn’t know it was gone. It shows how much detail you have in the model. The more you look the more you see. Edited October 25, 2021 by Ponthir28 Missing word 3

RMweb Premium Neal Ball Posted October 26, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 26, 2021 That door has been laying on the ground for so long, it will need repainting before they put it up!
