Popular Post KNP
4589 moving through workshop. Gone for a proving run to ensure motion not clogged up. All seems OK. Real coal to add and some graphite work needed to depict worn metal. And it moved all on its own with no assistance from the great hand in the sky....

MrWolf
I think that everyone's body clock is screwing up. Neither of us sleep much more than 5 hours normally. Today I didn't wake up until almost midday (feel like a slob!) Yet someone woke up at 7 full of bounce, having done her hedgehog impression the other day. I didn't try and wake her, you all know what it's like, I didn't fancy getting mauled! 2

Females of any mammal species tend to be aggressive when woken suddenly. Something to do with protecting their young. Although women seem to have evolved this into hogging the covers 1
MrWolf
Back on topic, 4589 looks great in its surroundings. If I can get my layout and stock anywhere near to that standard, I will have achieved what I set out to do. 1
RMweb Gold Bazza Posted May 14, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 14, 2020 You have really improved the Lima small prairie no end. So long as you do not put it next to the Bachmann model it looks fine. I originally wondered if it was really worth bothering with it, but I think you have proved me wrong! KNP
Coal added, removed original plastic moulding and part filled the space to indicate some has been used. Glue setting so I better not turn it upside down as it most likely all fall out...... overnight job....

Popular Post KNP
And for those of you interested this is the pipework and sand box I added to fill the void after I removed the rather flat plastic moulded piece. For the pipework I used telephone cable If you don't have any I would find some as it is most useful for pipework, downpipes, posts, etc. Ensure it has a solid core wire so it can be bent, shaped and stay in place. I use super glue to fix it. 9 6
