Popular Post KNP
Well I've sorted out what made the mark on the water.... A few weeks ago that is where I stood a plastic tube with water in whilst I was painting an area at the back. So I got rid of the mark, quite simple really I stood Misty on it!!! There is always a simple answer, this picture was taken with the iPhone 5s and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality so I took a few more.... Looks like a bit of remedial work needed to the water, I can see a ring of something or other - no idea what it is or when I did it. Normally Misty is alongside so hides it! It's a Ring of Bright Water. G. Maxwell 5 1

RMweb Gold Popular Post Tony Teague Posted February 26, 2019 RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted February 26, 2019 With thanks to Kevin for his hospitality, I was able yesterday to visit Little Muddle in the company of my good friend and RMWeb-ber Mick Bonwick. What we saw was stunning and if anything even better than is portrayed in Kevin's great photograph's! I took a few myself but they really aren't up to those that he painstakingly produces, nevertheless, here is one just to show that I have been there: Overall an inspirational visit from which a number of ideas have emerged that I shall steal adopt for use on Churminster and Stowe Magna. Thanks again Kevin! Tony 23 2 2

Martin S-C
Absolutely fantastic. That last pic needs to be in a sepia tone with one of those white written postcard view titles at the bottom. 2

I took the original colour picture, turn into monochrome then used a lens filter to add some sepia and finally noise added to give the grainy effect. 16

Going back to the photo of your Mogul that I tweaked - I'd love to apply the same process to the "veg won't sort themselves" photo but to do that I would need it without the cameo effect. Would it be possible to get the original photo, Kevin? Edited February 27, 2019 by Harlequin

The colour one is the original with the vignette added, forgot to save it before that. Edited February 27, 2019 by KNP

Well for better or worse here is, "Veg won't sort themselves" with the exact same process applied: It doesn't work quite as well as it did on the Mogul photo because a lot of the effect comes from defocusing the vignette area - which you can't see because of the pre-applied vignette fade out in this picture.
