And now a picture of the harbour wall!!!

Looks like a bit of remedial work needed to the water, I can see a ring of something or other - no idea what it is or when I did it.

Normally Misty is alongside so hides it!

It's a Ring of Bright Water.

Just think, which will cause some of you to splutter and tut tut , that both these engines do not have any motors.....???

They are basically props.....

Even those of us that have engines, still use them as props?

Just love your layout. Kevin, your keep it simple stupid method works well, I hope to do similar on mine when I get back to it, in the meantime ..........

drool.

Absolutely fantastic. That last pic needs to be in a sepia tone with one of those white written postcard view titles at the bottom.

Like this?

And without words.

I took the original colour picture, turn into monochrome then used a lens filter to add some sepia and finally noise added to give the grainy effect.

Talk about an idle threat.

That fellow looks no more capable of having anyone with a fork than Corporal Jones.

Going back to the photo of your Mogul that I tweaked -  I'd love to apply the same process to the "veg won't sort themselves" photo but to do that I would need it without the cameo effect. Would it be possible to get the original photo, Kevin?

Can you refresh my memory Phil as I can't recall.

EDIT

Didn't go back far enough, wish Andy could get he post numbers back up and running!

The colour one is the original with the vignette added, forgot to save it before that.

I see, thanks.

Well for better or worse here is, "Veg won't sort themselves" with the exact same process applied:

It doesn't work quite as well as it did on the Mogul photo because a lot of the effect comes from defocusing the vignette area - which you can't see because of the pre-applied vignette fade out in this picture.
