RMweb Gold Mikkel Posted August 6, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 6, 2018 Very nice Kevin, especially the enlarged version. There's something about wide views that add extra realism, I suppose because that's how we see the world. Screen sizes sometimes work against it though. We need even wider, narrower screens! I find that I am the same and wide/panoramic type pictures are my favorite.
KNP
The delivery lorry is nearly finished, few bits of tidying up needed. Large crate loaded on the back appears to be causing some consternation which would explain the inpromptu meeting planned to workout how to unload it. Transfers homemade using Serif Pageplus and decal paper. Ropes Egyptian thread used in model boat rigging. Folded tarpaulin made from a plastic bag....! RMweb Gold Stubby47 Posted August 8, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 8, 2018 The tyres need flattening at the bottom... Excellent little scene, with the figures posed in life-like poses.

KNP
Well it does seem to be quite some discussion they are having. Poor old Sidney has been in the wars (chap in the waist coat), I managed to snap his feet off when removing the temporary base...…! Odd blobs around there feet is Tacky Wax which I have provisionally used until I am happy with the positioning, then they will be glued down. KNP
Superb, what did you use for the sheet and ropes? Thanks The tarpaulin was cut out of a plastic bag and then carefully folded/glued. Ropes are Egyptian thread painted to look a little more rope like.

KNP
You can see Sidneys poor legs where I rejoined them above the ankles.... Tacky Wax gets everywhere, prior to fixing them in place permanently I shall have to give them a good clean Still chatting, bet they be like that for a while...!!!... KNP
No finger pointing as yet though... Agreed, they'll have to move the barrel before they start I reckon. Luckily for them I hadn't stuck it down so it will be easy to move. Sidney has had some work done on his legs and they look much better, all figures now fixed permanently and all signs of Tacky Wax removed. Lorry not fixed, I have put two small pencil marks on the ground marking where the wheels go so I can align it easily - bit like they do on a stage show. KNP
Wonder if their discussing industrial action after Sidney's accident Might have lost his argument though as at one stage he didn't have a leg to stand on - literally..... Sorry.....I'll get my hat and coat!!!
KNP
Aerial view of the discussion I must say it's worked out exactly as I envisaged it in my minds eye. Always difficult to do when looking on screen, in this case Modelu's website, and trying to work out the positioning of the figures and how to set them up. Luckily for me the chap resting his arm on the flat bed was exactly the right height - almost as if he had be posed to fit this model! The rest was just carefully positioning to ensure where making either eye contact or listening to one another. Lovely figures again from Alan at Modelu which provided the main elements of this little cameo. Edited March 21 by KNP
KNP
Hybrid panoramic picture of the creamery with 'the gang' still chatting in the yard and a section of hedge added by LH gate post. All in all the picture came out very crisp and sharp even after post focus merging. I'm finding I am getting a better quality of picture by moving the camera as far away as possible then cropping to get the size I was after. Picture now looking busy from left to right. Mrkirtley800
Your superb modelling is only surpassed by your imagination. I would never have thought about a broken down old barn, and the little cameo of the group around the lorry is wonderful Derek
