Fettster42
@Graham_Muz I am also modelling a SR dock inspired layout. I have a model rail USA tank and a Dapol B4. I have crew but can't for the life of me find how to get into the cabs to fit them. As you have both any hints or guides? Also would the USA tank have any form of cab lighting? I'd like the crew to be visible! Thanks

Thanks I must admit I crew mine using each crew member held rather undignified by the head using tweezers and feed feet first through the cab openings. RMweb Gold Tony Teague Posted May 11 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 11 I have both of these classes and fitted crew the same way - feet first through the windows. I didn't find it that difficult - and perhaps easier than a P class! Tony

GMKAT7
Good afternoon Graham, Nice shots of the Spitfire and bits of Sunderland thanks, with some far off model railway layout (or is it really small? 😂). As you say, looks like a fantastic place to visit! Cheers, Nigel.

Thanks Leigh Hello Leigh, My apologies, with nearly 800 posts on my blog, I knew I had posted about the remote uncoupling before but it was back in 2013 and not as detailed as it could be, see here https://southern-railway.com/2013/06/15/controlling-interests-6-uncoupling-the-box-van/ I am therefore in the middle of drafting a more detailed post and a bit more specific to Canute Road Road Quay and will publish soon, so watch this space.
