RMweb Gold TheSignalEngineer Posted December 16, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 16, 2010 Saturday 8th August 1964 and A1 Pacific 60114 "WP Allen" was observed in New St working back to the Eastern Region. Apparently 60114 worked a Sheffield - South Wales locospotters special as far as Worcester on 12 July 1964. Whilst on Worcester shed it suffered damage at the hands of an over-enthusiastic WR driver and had to be replaced for the return trip by a Saltley Black 5. 60114 remained at Worcester until repairs could be carried out before returning north.
