RMweb Gold Worsdell forever Posted November 4, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted November 4, 2017 So you played trains all night and made no list? No, made a list, actually a list for each board then played trains for half an hour... This morning I've been working out how to build the structure to hold the backscene up. Now it all has to be put away before SWMBO gets home.

Despite the preponderance of kettles, it's looking very good. Mike.

RMweb Gold Worsdell forever Posted November 4, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted November 4, 2017 How well does the rotary switch for selecting the uncoupling magnet work? Is it easy / convenient to operate ? Not used this one in anger yet but I've used this system on two of my own and one club layout in the past, works brilliantly, doesn't take long to memorize where to turn it to and saves loads of push buttons and space, there's 6 magnets on here so I'm saving 4 switches and all that space that can be put to better use for mugs of tea, biscuits etc.

RMweb Premium Compound2632 Posted November 4, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 4, 2017 Just come here from via the link from the Class 59 build thread and regretting not having kept up - I was looking in early on but not for a good while - it's looking very impressive indeed. The sheep managed to cling to the hillside thanks to their extra legs.20170911_142845.jpg Very nice sheep - what breed? (Manufacturer, perhaps I should say.) Real one for comparison.20170625_145127.jpg Nothing like working from a good photo of the prototype - but do you have a photo of the other side too? While I was making my list last night 1489 arrived to shunt the yard. 20171103_221502_001.jpg 20171103_221645.jpg 20171103_221926.jpg 20171103_222006.jpg 20171103_222224.jpg 20171103_222331.jpg 20171103_222505.jpg How did that get there... 20171103_221106_001.jpg The presence of the mandatory Midland D299 5-plank open is duly noted!

RMweb Gold Worsdell forever Posted December 8, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted December 8, 2017 Saw that on Facebook earlier, think it's an animal feed lorry, there was a milk tanker last year tried to go straight down rather than round the bends, I seem to remember that the driver quit his job later that day...
