Hi Ray

I like what you have done so far, I like to ask where did you get the control panel box from?.

Keep up the good work, it's coming on very well.

Darren

Hi Darren

The control panel is a project box from Rapide electronics.

Thank for the comment.

Not a good photo. I have put gloss varnish down the centre to show water dropped from locomotives.

I will be putting sprinkling ash down the centre.

AN UPDATE WITH BALLASTING.

The ballast is ash I got from a club member. I ran it through a sieve to get all the lumps put the I mixed it with casamite a powder resin glue for wood, then spread over the track and then I used a flat brush to lay it flat.

Update.

Long time coming,

I have air brushed the ballast with a blackboard black paint brought from Wilko's, and gave the track two light coats and a very light coat between the each road.

Made a start on the bridge made of 3mm plywood, got to be covered with brick plasticard, the girders is not fixed just there to see what it looks like.

The cardboard on the bottom is hold the distance of the two walls when I put the girders on, I will cut this off when finished.

I had time after getting Yard Shunter ready for Exeter show this weekend, so I did some work on Feltham Road.

I had finished painting the bridge the other day so I had time today and glued it in place, think it looks fantastic.

I have put the static grass on the embankments.

and glued the supporting wall in place. I made this with 3mm plywood and then glued slater's emboss brick, I used modelling clay for the coping stone on top, then painted the hole thing in light grey then cleaned the top to leave the paint in the grooves then dry brushed with different browns.
