Riddles
The little bottle has a built in dropper, similar to an eye or ear drops dispenser but with a narrower outlet. The top is "child proof". RMweb Gold The Fatadder Posted March 10 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 10 (edited) Has anyone who has renumbered their ARC 59 got a set of the Dapol plates for 59103 going spare please? Edit: all sorted now thanks. my 59 arrived yesterday (2nd hand) but it’s missing its nameplates. Normally I wouldn’t mind as I very rarely keep locos with their original numbers (and have a box with several Bachmann plates that were left over after renumbers). But in this case 59103 is the only 59 to have been used on the working I’m modelling. Edited March 11 by The Fatadder

Markn
From the sound of this Rails facebook post, the second batch (presumably including the Kernow and Gaugemaster specials) is now due Q4. Model has been updated to a plux22 though, hopefully this is to give the correct lighting functions (we can hope). Either way, 59104 in Hanson looks great. https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=864433342392351&set=a.563373969164958&comment_id=7446067792154595¬if_id=1713191667438508¬if_t=feedback_reaction_generic&ref=notif 1 3
SouthernMafia
Good news, Hanson definitely a notable omission previously. Unfortunately for my wallet that means I'll be after 4 of the next batch ! Hope they have sorted the lights on the 59/1s as still not seen a fix.

The Meerkat
Colas can send it back at anytime, like what GBRF did with the 67?

RMweb Gold Adam1701D Posted April 26 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 26 I'm afraid there is not time to add the "Colarised" 59003 to the next batch, as this has been locked down after the addition of the Hanson loco. It is drawn up with a view towards Batch 3, though 😎 5

At work the Jacobs crackers were the RMC hoppers out of Whatley. The Colas diamonds we call the diamond geezers. Of note, both this and 67027 have blue rectangles of vinyl over the GBRf logo as they are painted, not vinyled, so can't be removed. The blue isn't a perfect match to the paint. NickL2008
I see what you mean about the sides Jo. hah never knew the orginal RMC hoppers were referred to that! nor the colas "diamonds"! NL
RMweb Gold Adam1701D Posted April 27 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 27 Not noticed the blue panel behind the b ig diamond, Jo. That will be fun to try and paint match.
RMweb Premium 7013 Posted June 19 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 19 (edited) I saw 59104 looking resplendent in Freightliner Orange livery near Didcot hauling a huge train today. Does anyone know if this livery will be/is covered by Dapol. It suits 59104 really well. I suppose I could look at a retailer for the answer, was hoping that 59104 would be produced in The Freightliner Orange livery. Incidentally the loco looked spectacularly clean. I debranded mine and destressed it to the point that it was just before repaint, hoping that this run would release a different orange one to run with it. RMweb Gold Adam1701D Posted June 20 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 20 59206 in Freightliner Orange will feature in our next batch. I am already eyeing up the shiny Orange (and Green) 59/1s for Batch 3 🙂
Peter Kazmierczak
I saw three consecutive freight trains going in the same direction a couple of days ago, within an hour. First came 59004, then 59104 and finally (you've guessed it) 59204.
