jonny777
Self isolation has meant much more time to look through old transparency scans with no location details, so far. Therefore here are a few that some people might be able to identify. Number 1 Number 2 Number 3 Number 4 Number 5

jonny777
Thanks very much everyone for your excellent suggestions. I'm pretty sure they are correct, as it is much easier for me with a place name to search for. Here are a few more, Number 6 Number 7 Number 8 Number 9
Rugd1022
I think no.7 is somewhere between Sheetstores Junction and Burton-on-Trent and no.9 might be Achnasheen. Lovely images by the way!
RMweb Premium uax6 Posted March 19, 2020 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 19, 2020 Numbers 8 and 9 are Highland Railway I'm sure, but can't for the life of me think where. Somewhere on the Kyle branch perhaps? Nice pair of white minors in number 5 (a four door and a two door) and just look at that lamp-post hiding in the blossom! RMweb Gold TheSignalEngineer Posted March 19, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 19, 2020 Number 8 looks like the line from Kyle to Plockton. Number 9, don't think it's Strathcarron, too much curve?

60021 Pen-y-Ghent
No 9 I think is Helmsdale on the Far North line. Pretty certain it's Helmsdale, as judged from my photo below taken in almost the same place but from the footbridge and further along the opposite platform. The hills in the background in the first photo are the givaway for me. Paul J. 3 1

Wickham Green too
Did think No.5 might be Tattenham Corner - but it doesn't match photos though there are architectural similarities : where else on the South Eastern would have such a long building ?
