Finally, here’s a photo’ of 20308 & 20312 standing outside Hull Paragon Station at Park Street bridge on the rear of a ballast working waiting for the clear to enter the work sight at West Parade, on the 7th April, 2013. They are thanks to John Turner, Peter Brumby, SNAPPER60809, and Crewcastrian, all on Flickr, Firstly here is a photo’ of Dairycoates (50B) allocated Gresley B16/2 (rebuild of Raven B16/1) 4-6-0, 61437, near Brough with a Hull-bound freight, on the 30th July, 1963. Next we see 37688, on a Scarborough to Derby R.T.C.(Network Rail) working, on the 14th September, 2014. In this photo’ we have a Class 110 DMU at Scarborough, on the 25th August, 1980. It appears to be on a shunting movement. Finally here is a photo’ of 40 40077 at Scarborough again on the 25th August, 1980. Its Bank Holiday passenger train has just been taken off to the sidings by an 03, releasing the Class 40 to run out of the platform. The third photo depicts B1 4-6-0, 61128, at Brough with an 'up' stopping train from Hull, in June, 1959. Finally, let’s look at 47812, on the 28th August, 2014, at Gilberdyke, working train, 4D94, the 12.23 from Doncaster Down Decoy to Hull. Boris Posted September 14 Share Posted September 14 The photo with the Thompson BZ is quite interesting as they must have been on the verge of being banned from passenger trains at this point, officially anyway. The third photo’ shows Doncaster (36A) shed K3 2-6-0, 61964, as it passes the gas works at Brough (East Yorkshire) with a Hull-bound Class D express freight, on the 20th June, 1959. The third photo’ depicts a train departing Hull on the 31st March, 1985, with 31459 on the 17.33 service to Manchester. Next we have a photo’ of 55012, Crepello, as it sets off from Paragon station on the 1st March, 1980, with train, 1A18, the 12:45 Hull - King's Cross. And now for the advertising poster from c1968. The second photo’ is a view of Driffield, with a two car 101, with a refurbished DMBS, and a non refurbished DTCL, on the 16th May, 1979. The photo’ was taken at 14.57, and the unit on a Hull service. Thirdly we have a photo’ of a Deltic with Finsbury Park white Cabs. It is 55012, Crepello, as it waits to leave Hull Paragon with train, 1A18, the 12:45 Hull to King's Cross on the 1st March, 1980. Lastly we see 66747, on the 7th March, 2014. Thirdly we have a photo’ of 66091 with 66132 on the rear at Southcoates Lane with the KX - Hull docks Humber Bosun railtour on the 13th July, 2014. I was on that one! It was quite impressive for the train to run into the steel handling shed in the docks. We were delayed on the way back to Hessle Road Jn due to a brake pipe between the coaches bursting, and we had to wait for a fitter to come from Immingham to repair it. Firstly here’s a photo’ of 47077 "North Star" and 40074 stabled at Botanic Gardens (BG) TMD, Hull, on the 16th January, 1983. Next we see, on the 23rd of March, 1985, 31458, on the 09.50 Hull to Leeds service at Brough. The third photo’ depicts 'WD' class, 90670, as it heads a train of empty coal trucks over Hedon Road Bridge after a fairly heavy fall of snow on Hull, on January 12th, 1967. Finally, here’s a photo’ of 66751, passing Melton, which is train, 6C72, loaded coal boxes from Hull Coal Terminal to Eggborough P.S. on the 14th March, 2014.
