Thesmudge
Looks a very wide board how do you reach the back to install everything? The board is 1200mm deep, I have long arms. For the corners I have made the boards strong enough to sit/stand on them so it's easy to reach to the back.
LongRail
I would suggest you will need to plan the scenery carefully. At that distance it will be hard to produce finer detail and you may need to work from the back first.
Thesmudge
Not too much progress, today I started to build the bridge at the end of the station, I have used a Wills kit which is great quality.
RMweb Gold Budgie Posted October 18, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 18, 2015 I don't like the look of those screws you are using to hold the track in place. I suggest you use 3/8" (9.7 mm) x No.0 wood screws, available from Modelfixings.
RMweb Gold Andy7 Posted October 18, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 18, 2015 Like the bridge brother looking great. Track work is going to look great when ballasted and the screws are removed!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thesmudge
Spent a little time on the bridge. Progress below, I'm waiting now on more English bond brick to finish it off, then I can start to paint it.

RMweb Gold Andy7 Posted February 21, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 21, 2016 A sort of update. Mainly just been playing trains! So the fiddle yards, the main running lines, the station area, the passing loop by the depot area and the container lines(3) are all laid and running great. We will tackle the depot in the next few months I'm sure. It's nice to have it all running. A complete loop at medium speed takes about 3 mins 30 secs. I have a few videos which I will edit into one tonight and get up on the thread. Anyway a few pics of some of the stock hope you like them.
sub39h
Over the last couple of weeks I have bought some new points and started to fix the yard area down. I also added a couple of sidings close to the station, these are the programming tracks. We had a small running session this morning unfortunately not many pictures were taken but one of my new class 60. What wagons are the 60s hauling please? RMweb Gold Andy7 Posted February 21, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 21, 2016 I forget what the details are but they are Roco HO items and are few and far between. If your going to try and get some, then good luck (at a sensible price anyway).

380John
Just found this..... Really like what you have done in the space you have got. I'm at the same stage you were a year ago....renovating the house so I can finally convert the garage into my 'railway room' the thought of getting a step closer each time is what keeps me going!!! Really like the layout il be following with interest, John
