Superb Andy - Can't beat those Southern Loco's, any chance of 34 002 Salisbury arriving on shed :good:

Cheers, Bob.

May well do Bob if I get another Wilton to cannibalize although there are a few other favourites as well that are on the list.

I've managed to give the Warehouses a coat of paint this evening and there almost ready for fixing in place now. I have decided to do just rusty / mucky streaks down the from the V's instead of Drain Pipes for now, although I may add some later.

I may also do some signage.

Hi Andy, just a thought, but to break up the warehouse backs a bit you could perhaps stick an extractor fan or aircon unit or two about the place? And maybe some electricity cables?

It's all looking good though mate, like the weathering on the warehouses.

Top marks on the weathering mate...

Cheers Guys, I will be adding some bits like Air Con units as I did on Deesdale Road, but at a later date, I need to finish the Road and get back onto Pencarne.

Just as a thought Andy. Depending on the era you want to portray, when did Air Con units start to be fitted in the UK?

Hi Duncan, I can remember them in the Garage where I worked in 1966 so they would be just coming in around the time of the Transission Era, BUT Vents in factories were well before that period, especially if it was a Foundry or similar.

Thanks Andy. Wasn't sure so I thought that I'd better ask

Well done buddy another layout to add to your impressive list, great stuff...what's next ? hahahah

Cheers Mate, What's next? well I have to finish off the new end Warehouse and the Road over Bridge, and also add some ballast along the back at the foot of the Warehouses, and then a few small details like Oil Drums, Pallets, and some old Sleepers around the Yard. I also have a colour light Signal that I might install in front of the Bridge on the entry / exit road that runs along the back.

Once done it will go up to the Club ready for the Mince Pie Open Weekend on 12th / 13th December.

I have drawn up plans for another small relief project and all will be revealed soon, but in the meantime I want to get the Control Panel finished on Pencarne Junction and also do the Branch around to Trewenn. Lee is coming up next week to give me a hand with the woodwork for the Viaduct section as my woodwork is RUBBISH.

The MORE OBSEVANT amongst you may have noticed the amendment to the thread name a week or so ago, and here is the reason.

West Shed was built for use at our Clubs Open Weekend and left fairly vague so that different stock can be rotated each year so that the Layout stays fairly fresh.

Here is its latest incarnation.

Can you guess what it will be yet?

Sorry Duncan, I'll slow down a bit once West Shed is up at the Clubroom, as I'll be concentrating on the link from Pencarne to Trewenn.

Also I forgot to mention that I've also re painted the Facia in a Grey which I think looks a lot better than Green.

Hi Andy

You don't let the greenery grow under your feet, do you?

Where did the 60's come from?

binny

Morning Jeff, Thanks and I like your new Avatar. As for the 60's, well blame George, Cav and Marcus / Anthony, (his Son), hahhahahhahah

I think they look good though and will give me another period to run at Open Weekends.

Hahahahahahahahahaha Morning Mate, the 60s look the part mate, snowploughs need toning down as they stick out like a sore thumb ?

Yeah I agree Mate, so does the Silencer and Bogie side frames but that's about all, I'll leave the Body Sides clean I think. I have some weathering to do in the next week or so, so they will be done along with the Shed and Pits etc.
