Some pictures of my rake of MBAs made from resin kits by N thusiast trains. I think I started running these on the finished layout just around the time that Farish produced them. These were very good kits but the resin was prone to warping with changes in temperature.

The track on the front of the layout did not take very long to be laid. The station throat across the bridges joins the more countrified area of the yard and sidings to the city end of the main station.

Because the canal and road were going to be 'below ground' I painted in the canal and paved the area nearby. All of the Victorian buildings in this area were going to be turned into a cafe and maybe a waterways museum.

The station section with from left to right, bay platform, loop platform, mainline platform, mainline platform, loop platform and bidirectional goods loop.

And an aerial view of the whole thing from a drone (me standing on a chair). By the fireplace are the fiddle yard boards. They can wait.
