A while ago I set out on a retro 1980's modelling challenge to build the three pre-printed Ratio ex-GWR 12T box vans. 

These came in BOCM, Badger Ales and Huntsman Ales liveries.

I managed at the time to obtain the BOCM and Badger liveries to build or restore as documented here:

Eventually as luck would have it I managed to obtain the Huntsman Ales kit.

Here it is built alongside the Badger Beer van.

As the BOCM van was a restoration I remained on the look out for an unbuilt kit. Eventually one appeared on a well known auction site.

Here it is accompanied by the Harvey's Bristol Cream van produced by Ratio.

As a nostalgic look back at 1980's modelling these kits have brought back some happy memories.
