I've decided it's time to take a stand!

Well, a table and a display stand, at the Great Western Study Group open day, in Didcot on the 29th June. I'll be bring along some of the rolling stock that has featured in this blog, and one or two 'work in progress' items. If you are within striking distance of Didcot and can make the date, please come along to see Netherport's wagons 'IRL' (as the young folks say).

For more information, and to find out what else will be happening on the day, see @drduncan's thread about the event.

Nick.

That's a shame - next time!

I made end-pieces for my stand, simply cut from Daler board and glued on, after an unfortunate experience with a sagging trestle table. It'll be in the boot of the car, if you want a look, as it'll be needed elsewhere in the afternoon.

Thanks, Stephen. That sounds like a wise choice - I was wondering about the levelness of tables, floor, etc....

I would be tempted to stick some embankment walls between the levels.

(the law of RMweb: for every post you make, there will be several suggestions for more work!)

Yup! I work on the basis that I won't be offended by your suggestions, if you aren't offended when I ignore them...

Unable to attend due to cycling in Serbia at present.  I am sure you will have a pleasant weekend showing your wonderful wagons.
