Some weathered wagons and vans

Been re-gauging/fitting 3 link couplings and weathering a number of wagons this week.

First up examples of a group of unfitted vans,

Not sure about the "W" number on the van on the left as its a SOuthern Railways/BR design.

Next up some fitted vans

looks like both are Parkside kits.

A Gunpowder van (Hornby Dublo body on a Parkside chassis) and chalk marked Parkside van

Nice work Barry.

 

Regarding the Southern designed box van, some of these were built for the GWR/LMS towards the end of the war so a 'W' prefix to the number is correct.

Mark's right. Both the unfitted vans look like Ratio kits if I'm not mistaken.

Ta very much and they are Ratio kits on their way back to their way wner.

I should have checked my Bradford Barton wagons books as there are some details in there.
