Baz, lovely job as ever, such a pity that the shape of the dome lets it down, and for me, modelling the fifties, the 'capuchon' would have to go. We had several stabled at Hurlford 67B when I lived there in the fifties and the shed had one as their pet which always looked like new! Reminded me of lots of footplate rides on 2Ps, especially the run from Kilmarnock station after Saturday morning cinema, back to Barlieth halt next to Hurlford shed where my dad was a driver - very many thanks for bringing back the memories! I'd love a couple just like that for my projected model of the MPD!

Kind regards,

Jock.

Thanks jock!

I don't know who built this. Its from a kit and has some very interesting for mpensation of both the loco and tender chassis.

Not seen many 2Ps about in my weathering told...this is only the second one! Which is surprising as they did last a long time.

Glad its brought good memories.

Best regards

Barry
