Fascia colour - changed my mind again

A visit to that fine emporium, Wilkinsons, saw me returning with a large tin of green paint. I decided that, on balance, the pale blue I'd gone for as the fascia colour for the 4mm layout was a bit cold and offered too much of a contrast with the hues in the scenery. It was fine in the Winter scene (still undecided about what to do there) but didn't really set off the Spring module as well as I'd like. I thought it would look even worse on the Summer module, so I decided to take the plunge and repaint:

It's a different shade of green to that used on the American layout but I didn't want to overwhelm the room with too much of the same shade. After repainting the fascia I also added a visual screen to shield the view of trains moving between the Spring and Summer modules - that's the green bit sticking out on the right, where the tracks turn through nearly ninety degrees as they span the gap next to the door. Apart from protecting stock from falling off (that's not happened yet during a running session, although I did elbow my 42xx off the tracks a week ago while fiddling with wiring. Fortunately it had a soft landing on a plastic bag and no harm was done) it also gives a better impression of spatial separation between the scenes, so that the trains really seem to be arriving/departing. I think so, anyway

On the right you can also make out some of the "special effects" gubbins - the speaker for the "dawn chorus" ambient soundtrack, and the LED spotlight with blue filter for the moonlight scenes. I installed a 4-way switchable extension socket on the edge of the module so that the various lights and features can be easily controlled, and there's a similar set-up on the Summer module.

Can we see some more close ups please? Lovely work there and the fascia colour looks spot on. That scenery in the top one looks particularly brilliant.
