Coastguard Creek - 15 months of planning!
Hold on to your socks - this is going to be a lengthy one! (In fact it's so long, I've now split it into 2 separate posts - the next will be up soon...) I think it's fair to say that you are all long overdue an update on Coastguard Creek. Due to other commitments, no real progress has been made since the last post way back in March 2021; almost 15 months ago! Thanks, @Mikkel , for your kind words. I thought such annoyances would not recur by not ballasting the passenger station points. Logic suggests either 'go back to work to pay for someone else to build it' or 'do not have points.' And I expected modern fly-wheel locos to ride through the brief gaps like the old Dyna-Drive models. It is so infuriating. Sorry; whine ended. I found an old Hornby VEA to divert me with another 'doors open' cameo while I mull it all over. -
Someone ought to put up a statue to him - railway historians owe him a great deal 😀 -
