Talking of exhibitions viewtopic.php?f=4&t=26920

A very good friend of my dad gave me a very old copy of ???Another line side look at model railways??™, with Bob Symes as the presenter. I haven??™t ever seen Petherick before, bar the pictures in his book, Landscape Modelling.
I know that the film was made many years ago, but I just wondered what happened to Petherick?

Not the best photo in the world, but does anyone else have any better!?

Also covered in MRJ #2. I thought it had been sold, but not sure. Barry Norman is demoing at Railwells in a couple of weeks, if nobody else pipes up I'll ask him.

Try and get hold of the original Bob Symes video, you'll see a feature on Wyndlesham Cove and Petherick being built.

Petherick was sold many years ago.

I believe it still exists.

Cheers Tim Brain had the on DVD so I have made a copy, which sounds awful, but you can't buy them for love nor money at the moment! Petherick being built is excellent isnt it! I would really love to see it.

Cheers.

Top geezer Bob Symes ,those vids purchased from one of the Works type bargain book shops about 10 years ago helped re-kindle my interest in model railways :D & Pethrick is one my favorite layouts 8) 8) 8) , I would have loved to see it set in the early to mid sixties though, for me the golden age of the ex LSWR 8) 8) 8) . By the way Hursley is another masterpiece in my book..........what a modeler :drool

Cheers Phill
