sixoh8sixoh
L1 and B17. Great news for LNER modellers. Merry Christmas to everyone - especially Andy and the admin team!
Mighty
It's the year for LNER enthusiasts! Congratulations go to Hornby on some very interesting models indeed.
birdseyecircus
Certainly another cautious year on the D&E front. Whilst not wishing for anything in particular I do worry if Hornby can keep on the 'Modern Image' side of things especially with so many announcements from Dapol & Heljan. How long before they are pipped to the post with improved models on classes 59,67 &73? Still they must know what they are doing. Paul
sixoh8sixoh
Ooh, the Skaledale coaling tower's rather tasty too...!
Beardybloke
I'm very, very glad that there wasn't a Dukedog in there - it'd have been one more thing to buy! Once again though, we seem to have come up with some very accurate guesses as a forum Thanks for putting this up Andy, Merry Christmas and goodnight B)
cobbjn
28xx and 38xx for GWR modellers, but no GWR coaches ! Jim.
RMweb Gold griffgriff Posted December 25, 2009 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 25, 2009 Hawkworth's too... they look really nice... shame there is nothing new to pull them... what am I saying... time for bed... merry Christmas everyone.
Horsetan
AAARRRGGGHHHHH!!! A 28xx AND a 2884! That'll take all the heat off trying to modify a Finney 28xx, then
cobbjn
4VEP looks interesting - Hornby have followed Bachmanns lead !! Jim.

Guest TomTank
That coaling tower is most impressive, will be replaceing my super quick one I think!
Chris56057
Top marks to Hornby- nice selection of new models. Quite a few for on the list this year then me thinks B) Cheers to Andy for putting this up- have a good Xmas mate.
amsie
I thought it was excellent for D&E Modellers, particularly the VEP and the HST packs. Unfortunately though, nothing of interest for me. Paul
davidw
Delighted by the presence of L1 and B17. Stunned by the complete absense of an A3 in BR or LNER livery! Except the 1969 US Tour A3 Scotsman
Guest Max Stafford
I'll have an L1 (built in Glasgow - that's my excuse!) Interesting A4s and another black five too. Nice coaling tower and an attractive Austin K8 van. Not a deluge of new items from my viewpoint but still much of interest. I may need to bite the bullet and paint a Devon Belle Obs car maroon though! Dave.
Bar Side
A Sandy and an L1 - Happy Christmas indeed!! Ivan
bluex5
The 4-VEP is useless for my layout project as they are 67 onwards machines and never wore green. However from my personal point of view the B17 and L1 fulfill my fondness for collecting ER locos and although I am not a big fan of WR steam a nice grimey 2-8-0 freight loco will always interest me. kintbury jon
Like the look of 56040, RR 31, and also many of the other items that are out of my era. But another LL 50?! I've lost count as to how many have been produced (004,011,020,031,035?) Can't complain though, the VEP will be fantastic. An NSE one couple up to a blue/grey Bachmann 2EPB sounds like a good choice! Just one thing I spotted - those PGA's appear to be the old Lima tooling. Have they ditched the old Hornby moulds?
James90012
RR 31! Finally! And KFA container wagons, we are getting spoilt for choice now. Anyone else think its odd that the new Virgin Mk3s are there, yet the new Virgin DVT isn't? *Just found in a pack with an EWS 90, what a way to shift some 90s!
